Check the state of the ventilation grilles. Never obstruct them.
In the case of prolonged absences, close the general shut-off valve of the gas for your business and for the appliances that use gas.
The appearance of the flame in the boiler indicates whether the gas pressure and the air input are correct.
The flame must be stable and silent and should have an intense blue colour at the core, with a lighter-coloured exterior.
A short blue flame often indicates an excess of air, which signifies capacity loss.
A yellowish and long flame often indicates a lack of air. This type of flame lowers the boiler's output increasing environmental contamination.
It is recommended that gas leak detectors be installed in the place where the boiler is located.
Annually check the gas installation and ensure that the components are in perfect condition.
If it smells like gas:
Close the general shut-off valve and gas appliance controls.
Do not light matches or lighters.
