If, for any reason, you have an unpaid bill, Endesa will help you get up to date. It’s easy, it’s quick and it’s totally free of charge, with no type of interest, no surcharges and no penalties.

Have you been absent-minded, and there wasn’t enough left in your bank account?

It’s possible to get into debt over your electricity bill in the silliest ways. And when it happens, it’s natural to think “What can I do now?” Don’t worry, it’s easy and we’ll explain how to do it.

How to pay an outstanding bill

As with other services, payment of energy bills may be made by direct bank debit or by deposit at the agreed bank branch.

Once the bill is issued, you have 20 days to pay it. This margin enables you to prevent it from coinciding with your mortgage payment or your rent, for example.

If for any reason you’ve left a bill unpaid, the easiest and quickest method is online payment. It’s convenient, safe and entails no extra costs.

If you aren’t registered at Endesa yet, we suggest that you register, to make it even easier. You can also pay your bill online without registering (although we’ll ask you for your contract number; you’ll find it on your bill).

How to find out if you have any outstanding bills

If you’re not sure whether you’ve paid all your bills, you can see your status in your Private Customer Area. If you’re registered, you’ll be asked for your username and password. If you’re not registered yet, register now!

Remember that if you pay by bank transfer or by direct over-the-counter deposit, it will take 3 working days for the payment to be processed.

You can also download all your invoices from your Private Customer Area, and print them if you so wish.

Payment of an outstanding bill doesn’t entail any type of economic interest or penalty. If you’re finding it difficult to pay your bills, Endesa can provide specialised services.
