What is the electronic bill?

The electronic bill contains the same information as that bill that you receive on paper, but in a format that includes a digital signature that guarantees the authenticity of the issuer and the integrity of its content. You can activate it upon contracting or at any later time at no cost.

The only difference between the digital bill and the traditional one is the format and speed of its reception. Both have the same legal validity. Endesa has obtained an electronic certificate issued by the Agencia Notarial de Certificación SL, which authorises it for incorporating the electronic signature on its bills.

In addition, the electronic bill also has several advantages:

  • Availability
  • Speed
  • Safety
  • Organisation
  • Ecological savings

After activating it, you will receive an e-mail indicating that it is already available. In this notice, we inform you of its date and amount and the contract number that it is associated with. In addition, we include a link so that you can consult it without needing to access my Endesa.

You’ll be able to download it and file it on your device as a PDF. You just need an internet connection to access your Private Customer Area, and an e-mail account to receive the notice. If you want to see your bill in XML format, you’ll have to install the bill viewer. It is totally free and complies with all of the technical and safety requirements.
