What is OKGas Mini?

The OKGas Mini service includes an annual periodic check of the gas installations, boiler and/or hearer and heating system, along with the hydraulic circuit and radiators and an unlimited repair service, in less than 48 hours, with travel time and the first 3 hours of labour free.
The objective of the OKGas Mini maintenance and repair service is to safeguard your home's gas installation to ensure that it is always in top condition.
It allows for compliance with the in-force regulations regarding gas installations (RD 919/2006) and Thermal Installations in Buildings (RD 1027/2007) which legal oblige annual boiler review.
It guarantees that installations are in top condition for the distributor's Legally Mandatory Periodic Inspection.
It prolongs the life of equipment and makes sure that installations are as safe as the first day, reducing failures by 1/3 of the normal rate.

In exceptional circumstances, if the repair time exceeds 3 hours we promise to provide a free prior quote for any repairs.

What is the yearly Periodic Check?

These are annual preventative visits to check the state, the safety and the correct functioning of the home's individual gas and heating installation, according to that set forth in the applicable legal and technical regulations.

This operation will include:
 
  • Mandatory RITE check for all equipment included within the service.
  • Check of all installation components (valves, supports, tubing, nozzles, venting, etc.) and of the necessary adjustments to guarantee safety and reduce consumption, problems or future failure of equipment.
  • Check of the installation's water tightness and security components.
  • Check and adjustment of the functioning of the gas boiler/heater, and as the case may be, of the heating and radiator's hydraulic circuit, together with combustion analysis, with the delivery of a results ticket.

The cost of the aforementioned check, as well as travel time to carry out the check, are included in the OKGas Mini service.

What repairs are covered by the OKGas Mini service?

All repairs that may arise for the boiler/heater, as well as the associated heating system (hydraulic circuit and radiators), except in the case that improvement work is required (for example, changing the location of a device) or when components are hidden or easy access is not possible.

The technician will get in touch with you via telephone less than 3 working hours following reception of the notice to set up the visit. Assistance for the repair will be carried out in less than 48 working hours (M-F from 9:00 to 19:00) with travel and the first 3 hours included, free.

The contract does not includes repairs of gas electrical appliances, or the stove or oven.

What is the term of the contract?

The contract duration is one year, and it will be automatically renewed on an annual basis. However, both the customer and Endesa can terminate the contract via written communication, with a minimum of one month's notice prior to the expiry date. In the case that the contract is terminated by the customer before the one year period has come to an end, the pending quotas must be paid through the contract's completion.

When is it possible to make use of the contracted maintenance service?

For customers that sign up for the OKGas Mini service independently of the gas supply, the contract will be made "active" almost immediately. Repairs will not be made without a prior maintenance visit.

In the case that contracting is carried out at the same time as the gas supply, the OKGas Mini service contract will not go into effect until the gas supply contract has been activated, following acceptance on part of the Supplier Company(approximate timeframe of less than 1 month).

What is the price for the first year and for the years after?

The price for the first year, with a 50% discount included, is €56.05 (VAT included), which in the case of fragmented payment comes to €4.67/month (VAT included).

From the second year of the contract onwards, the annual price is €112.09 (VAT included), which in the case of fragmented payment comes to €9.34/month (VAT included).

If I change to the One Rate, do I have to check the installation or change the measurement equipment?

Changing to a different company does not involve any change to your installation or interruption to supply. You don't have to do anything: Endesa will take care of all of the paperwork.

Remember that:
 
  • Right now, all companies are replacing meters with new electronic models. If yours hasn't been changed yet it will be changed soon, but this has nothing to do with signing up for this rate.
  • If when signing up for this rate you decide to change the capacity or the time restriction rate, modifications must be made to your meter or ICP. This has a cost known as "coupling rights" which comes to €9.04

How can I sign up for the OKGas Mini service?

Signing up for OKGas Mini is very simple. Once you fill out the contracting form, the contract will become "active" almost immediately. Endesa will send you a Welcome Pack with all of the information you need to start enjoying the OKGas Mini service.

In the case that contracting is carried out at the same time as the gas supply, the OKGas Mini service contract will not go into effect until the gas supply contract has been activated, following acceptance on part of the Supplier Company (approximate timeframe of less than 1 month).

Do I also need to sign up for the gas supply?

Not necessary. You can sign up for the OKGas Mini maintenance service without jointly signing up for an electricity supply, and you will receive OKGas Mini bills that are separate from your electricity bills. However, by signing up for an electricity supply you can benefit from the discounts and rates of our ONE Gas Rate.

How is the OKGas Mini service billed?

If you are also signed up for an electrical supply with Endesa Energy (EE), the OKGas Businesses service will be billed on the gas bill, bi-monthly/monthly, according to your billing cycle, or annually. If the customer is not signed up for gas supply with EE, they must expressly indicate one of the two previous payment methods and the service will be billed independently.

What happens if I terminate the gas contract?

If you cancel a gas supply contract, whether you have contracted the maintenance service with a joint billing system or the independent billing system, the maintenance contract will continue active until you have expressly requested the cancellation thereof. For joint billing systems, once the gas contract has been cancelled, you will be billed for the maintenance service separately.

I am signed up for another maintenance service, can I contract Endesa's OKElectricity Mini service?

Yes, you can sign up for Endesa's OKGas Mini service. We recommend that once you have requested contracting of the OKGas Mini service, you expressly request that your current company cancel the maintenance service that you are signed up for. It is important to keep in mind the time remaining to end the contract year for the maintenance service you are currently signed up for.

Our OKGas Mini service is the most complete option available, since, in addition to covering equipment, it includes maintenance and repairs to the gas installation, and for installations with heating it also includes service for radiators and the hydraulic circuit, with the most competitive prices on the market.

What happens if a Boiler and/or Heater is under warranty?

Maintenance will be performed, but in the case that repair is needed, it is recommended that the customer call the brand's Technical Service Assistance (SAT in its Spanish acronym). If the customer insists that an Endesa technician comes, they will do so, but the guarantee may be lost.

The OkGas Mini Maintenance Service is not just a service to check the gas installation every 5 years. It offers an annual maintenance service to avoid problems with the gas installation, boiler and/or heater, heating, hydraulic system and radiators, and to keep installations in the best possible conditions throughout the year; it is also a repair service.

How does Endesa Energy oversee process quality?

 Our Customer Service Centre will carry out an exhaustive control of repairs made, controlling compliance with quality criteria, as well as the service timelines established in the Operations Manual. It will also carry out random control calls regarding the maintenance operations performed. Lastly, satisfaction surveys are also be carried out, for both maintenance and repairs, in which customers give us excellent ratings, above 8 out of 10.
