Protect your home from the heat

Summer is here and it is nice to let sunlight into your home, but not direct sunlight and certainly not during the hottest hours of the day

We recommend closing your blinds in areas of the house that you are not going to be using and use awnings in the areas of the house that you are going to use to prevent direct sunlight from entering your windows and to prevent heat gain. Remember to lower the awnings in the morning to prevent direct sunlight entering the windows and close the awnings during the evening when the temperatures drop. Also remember to switch off lights and electrical appliances throughout most of the day to keep your home cooler.
